The Stables at Frederica offers riding lessons for all ages and experience levels in the disciplines of hunt seat equitation, hunters, jumpers, and dressage. Our lesson and training programs are designed to instill a well-rounded education on our students, encompassing horsemanship both on the ground as well as in the saddle. Private instruction is available as is the beneficial group lesson format. Lessons can be purchased individually or in packages for longer-term instruction.

Single Lesson

Introduce yourself to our experienced trainers and lovable school horses during 45 minutes private instruction in the discipline of your choosing.

 
 

  • Back to School Session begins the week of August 14th, and Makeup Week begins October 9th

  • Fall Session begins the week of October 16th, and Makeup Week begins December 11th

  • One makeup lesson is permitted per session

  • Lessons are the same day and time each week

  • $520 per group lesson slot, $600 per private slot

tuition sessions

Our Sessions follow the Glynn County school year and include both limited private and group lessons. Group students need to be able to walk and trot on their own, and all receive education both mounted and unmounted. Winter session runs for eight weeks, with a ninth week reserved for makeup lessons. Both Back to School Session and Fall Session are 8 weeks with makeup lessons on week 9. Lessons are suspended on Thanksgiving Day.

 
 

* Parental supervision is required for children under the age of 10 years old.  Parents or legal guardians are required to sign liability release forms before participating.

Riders and parental guardians will be asked to sign liability release forms before participating.  All services must be cancelled with 24 hours of notice or be subject to the cancellation fee (full price of service).  Tuition students may cancel 1 lesson per session with 24 hour notice; to be made up during Makeup Week.
