Sponsorship Opportunities

We offer several different ways to support our facilities, events, and horses here at the Stables at Frederica. As a female-owned small business, we take pride in supporting community events and other organizations and small businesses.

Horse Show Sponsorship

Businesses, individuals, and families can take part in the competitions hosted by the Stables through division and class sponsorships. We offer four methods to sponsor:

  1. Tri-Color Sponsorship ($2500) - Sponsors receive maximum name and logo exposure throughout the series. Tri-Color sponsors have their name/logo printed on the back numbers used by each rider and/or their name/logo printed on award ribbons, public announcements and recognition throughout the shows, a dedicated social media post before each event, a sponsor-provided banner displayed during events, and a full page ad in the prize list.

  2. Series Division Prize Sponsorship ($1000) - Series Division Sponsors receive exclusive sponsorship of a hunter or equitation division or a specialty class throughout the series. They will also have their name and/or logo included on year-end prizes, public announcement and recognition during their divisions, a sponsor-provided banner displayed during events, inclusion in sponsorship social media posts, and a half-page ad in the prize list.

  3. Show Division Sponsor ($300) - Show Division Sponsors provide sponsorship to a hunter or equitation division or a specialty class for a single horse show. They will also receive public announcement and recognition during that division, inclusion in the event’s sponsorship social media post, and a sponsor-provided banner displayed during the event.

  4. Jump Sponsorship ($1000) - Jump Sponsors enjoy year-round exposure to visitors to the Stables and local riders and their families. Sponsor logos are displayed on jump wings kept in the front arenas, and coordinating jump fillers and poles are used whenever possible.

The Stables Retirement Program

The Stables is proud to offer retirement to our horses once they show signs of finishing their riding careers. Both our trail and lesson horses have given so much to local riders, the business, and the community, and we are happy to be able to provide a safe and happy few twilight years for our older horses. Most of our horses will continue to work into their older years. Currently Quincy and Rusty are vying for the oldest working horses, both being born in 1997.

The costs of retiring a working horse are surprisingly high, which is why unfortunately most working horses in the equine industry do not get the luxury of retirement. Many horses, once they are no longer useful to riding schools, are sold to another school and passed from place to place until they cross the rainbow bridge. Even more unfortunate are those horses that once lameness and old age prevents them from working are sold to unsuspecting buyers, and at worst end up in kill lots.

The Stables has retired several horses. Sometimes those horses are placed with riders that have always enjoyed that particular horse. Some horses have been retired on the Stables grounds. We maintain a fund to cover the substantial cost of our retirees, and rely on donations to help alleviate those costs. Read more about how to help these horses live their final years happy and healthy.
